The art classes at Mona School aim to develop love and respect for nature in the students. Aesthetic, spiritual awareness and appreciation of the arts are important aspects of a student’s learning experience.
Respect for others and other’s work, as well as cooperation among the students, are the basic elements of character building in art classes at Mona School.
Knowledge of different forms of traditional and modern art is given importance. Perceptual skills, drawing, painting and dancing abilities are developed. Also, the children gain self-confidence and learn to express themselves in their own way.
The more emphasis is given to children’s drawing ability. They are encouraged to take part in competitions like Camel Competitions.
